Flu A, Flu B, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 detection

Flu/RSV/SARS-CoV-2 is a research use only (RUO) 1-well multiplex qPCR consisting of 5 readouts. Readout 1 detects Influenza A virus (Flu A); Readout 2 detects Influenza B virus (Flu B); Readout 3 detects Respiratort synctical viruses (RSV) type A & type B; Readout 4 detects dual targets for SARS-CoV-2 virus; and Readout 5 is an endogenous control.

DermatoPlex

Dermatophyte key target detection

The DermatoPlex assay is a research use only (RUO) 1-well multiplex qPCR consisting of 4 readouts. Readout 1 detects Trichophyton rubrum complex (T. rubrum, T. soudanense, and T. violaceum); Readout 2 detects Trichophyton mentagrophytes complex (T. mentagrophytes, T. interdigitale, and T. indotineae); Readout 3 detects Candida spp targets (including albicans, glabrata, orthopsilosis, tropicalis, and parapsilosis); and Readout 4 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition.

PlexPrime® SARS-CoV-2 Alpha/Beta/Gamma+

SARS-CoV-2 mutations

The PlexPrime® SARS-CoV-2 Alpha/Beta/Gamma+ assay is a research use only (RUO) 1-well multiplex qPCR consisting of 4 readouts. Readout 1 detects mutations causing E484K Spike Protein Substitution; Readout 2 detects SARS-CoV-2 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase gene (RdRp); Readout 3 detects mutations causing S982A Spike Protein Substitution; and Readout 4 detects mutations causing N501Y Spike Protein Substitution, also found in Omicron (BA.1 and BA.2).

Neisseria gonorrhoeae and markers of resistance & susceptibility to ciprofloxacin

The PlexPrime® GC+gyrA assay is a research use only (RUO) 1-well multiplex qPCR consisting of 5 readouts. Readout 1 detects the N. gonorrhoeae opa gene; Readout 2 detects the N. gonorrhoeae porA gene; Readout 3 detects the gyrA S91F mutation (a marker of resistance to ciprofloxacin); Readout 4 detects gyrA S91 wild type (a marker of susceptibility to ciprofloxacin); and Readout 5 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition.

PlexPrime® MG+23S

Mycoplasma genitalium and macrolide resistance markers

The PlexPrime® MG+23S assay is a research use only (RUO) 1-well multiplex qPCR consisting of 3 readouts. Readout 1 detects the M. genitalium MgPa gene; Readout 2 detects a A2058G, A2059G, A2058C, A2059C or A2058T mutation in the M. genitalium 23S rRNA gene that mediate resistance to macrolide antibiotics (MRMM); and Readout 3 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition.

PlexPrime® HSV, VZV, TP

Herpes simplex virus type -1 & -2, Varicella zoster virus (VZV), and Treponema pallidum (syphilis)

Readout 1 detects an HSV-1 specific target; Readout 2 detects an HSV-2 specific target; Readout 3 detects a VZV specific target; Readout 4 detects a T. pallidum specific target; and Readout 5 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition.
