The 20th Annual Scientific Meeting, “Antimicrobials 2019”, will be held at the Sheraton on the Park, Sydney on Thursday 21st – Saturday 23rd February 2019.

The programme’s symposia cover many different aspects of antimicrobials and sessions include “Difficult to treat populations (Science and immunology)”, “Difficult to treat/ID organisms (Laboratory and technical aspects)”, “Technology and antimicrobial resistance”, “Where humans and animals collide”, and “AMR testing update”. In addition, we will have an AMR update summit panel discussion and two pharmacy symposia titled “The drugs” and “Drugs and bugs”. Two literature review sessions will also be presented, including “The year in clinical microbiology” (Tony Korman, Victoria) and “The year in AMR” (Elaine Cheong, New South Wales). Four proffered papers and two poster sessions are also planned for the meeting.
