RespiV PlexPlus® is a 1-well, multiplex qPCR assay that amplifies nucleic acids of the following targets when present: influenza A virus (including H1N1 and H3N2 strains), influenza B virus (Yamagata and Victoria lineages), respiratory syncytial virus (subtypes A and B), severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), human adenovirus (species B and C), human parainfluenza virus (types 1 to 4), human metapneumovirus, rhinovirus (types A, B and C) and enterovirus (types A, B, C and D), shown in table 1.

This reagent includes an extraction/amplification internal control. The reagents are compatible with the Applied Biosystems® QuantStudio 5 and 7 real-time PCR systems.

The RespiV PlexPlus® kit is for research use only (RUO) and is not intended for use in diagnostic procedures.
