HCoV QuadPlex is a 1-well, multiplex qPCR assay that amplifies nucleic acids of four seasonal coronaviruses: 229E, NL63, OC43 and HKU1; shown in Table 1. This reagent includes an extraction/amplification internal control.

The reagents are compatible with the Applied Biosystems® QuantStudio™ 5 and 7 real-time PCR systems. The HCoV QuadPlex kit is for research use only (RUO) and is not intended for use in diagnostic procedures.

Note: HCoV Quad Mix, 20x provided contains a fluorophore specific for the QuantStudio™ 5 and 7 platforms.

HCoV QuadPlex assay complements RespiV PlexPlus®,
further extending respiratory virus detection.
